  • Do you accept insurance?
We currently are out of network with all insurance carriers. We will provide you a superbill to submit with your insurance and they may cover a portion of your visit depending on your coverage. If you wish to have a super bill completed, please let us know at time of service.
  • What type of payments are accepted?
We currently do not accept insurance. This format allows Mrs. Beier to have longer visit times and form a more intimate connection with her patients. We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Cash, Check or Debit Cards. You may also use a health savings account. If you wish to pay with cash or check, a credit card number is still required to book the appointment but will not be charged if specifically indicated. We charge 50% deposit to book the appointment. Full payment is due upon time of service. At the end of your visit, you may be provided with a “super bill” that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement that will vary by insurance carrier. If you wish to do this, please let your provider know at the end of your visit. If you are more than 90 days past due on a current balance, we will be unable to schedule future appointments.
  • What is your no-show or late policy?
2 full business days (48 hours prior not counting the weekends) cancelation notice is required when canceling an appointment. Appointments that are canceled or missed without two full business days’ notice will be charged the full fee of the appointment. Appointments may be converted to telehealth visits from in person in the event of an illness if notified in advance.
  • Phone calls and emails
We are not available to take phone calls during the day as we are seeing patients. Please leave a detailed voicemail and we will return your call as soon as possible. Current patients are also encouraged to utilize the patient care portal to send secure messages to the provider. If calls and messages are increasing in duration and frequency, this may be a sign that we need to see you in clinic sooner and you may be asked to schedule a sooner follow up appointment.
  • Do I have to reside in Indiana to attend a virtual appointment?
Per state law, please ensure you are located in the state of Indiana at the time of your virtual appointment. If you are not, we will not be able to see you and you will be responsible for the full visit fee.
  • Do I have to be a Christian to receive care here?
Absolutely not. We believe that there are many universal truths that can be applied to many religious and faith affiliations. The spiritual component of your care will be based upon your comfort level.

  • What is the difference between a PMHNP and a Psychiatrist?
A psychiatric NP, also known as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), is an advanced practice nurse who cares for individuals with psychiatric and mental health disorders. A psychiatrist is a doctor who cares for the same population. In many ways, these two careers overlap. Both PMHNPs and psychiatrists assess, diagnose, and treat patients. Treatment may include analysis, psychotherapy, counseling, medication, and hospitalization. Both use in-depth knowledge of human behavior and mental health conditions to help patients manage symptoms associated with mental health and substance use disorders.
